About This Project
This project covered the full design and installation of an electric fence system around the complete perimeter of a residential property in Rustenburg. The client had experienced multiple attempted break-ins and needed a reliable, visible deterrent that would also alert them to any tampering.
We installed 8-strand galvanised steel wire on fibreglass offset brackets, mounted on top of an existing precast concrete wall. The energiser is a 12V solar-compatible unit with a built-in alarm and zone monitoring — meaning any breach or wire cut triggers an immediate siren and SMS alert to the homeowner's phone.
All work was done in compliance with SANS 10222-3 electric fence safety standards. Warning signage was installed at every entry point and at 10-metre intervals along the fence line, as required by regulation. The system was tested and certified before handover.
